Liverpool unveil new home kit inspired by inspired by famous 1984 team

Liverpool have revealed their home kit for the 2023-24 season, which features a pattern and print from 1984.

The retro design features a chrome yellow pattern of the club’s “You’ll Never Walk Alone” (YNWA) motto etched into the fabric of the shirt.

It also has a collar with traditional yellow and red detailing, which is a nod to the iconic collar worn by the 1984 team who lifted the European Cup in Rome.

The Italian city also inspired Liverpool’s announcement video and features the likes of Mohamed Salah, Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk modelling the shirt.
